Big Group:

Kind of far but amazing:
Pizza Lola - amazingggg woodfired pizza (has gluten free crust avail)
Wise Acre Eatery - local farm, organic eats, small place 
Blackbird - local, small and great noodle dish
Foxy Falafels - great for catering as well
Pig ate my pizza - awesome experience and pizza is originally funky (has gluten free avail)
The Nook - known for their juicy lucy's

Running or Biking:
Bikes for renting:
- Nice Ride (our bike sharing program, stations everywhere, enter for credit card, 5$ for 24 hours, you need to bring it back every 30 minutes and switch bikes, i.e. I bike to work, return bike to station, and after work I enter my credit card again (they will not charge your card again) it will give a different code and you can ride to the next station...so on.)
- If you want to go on a longer ride, all of the bike shops in town rent their bikes out for daily, weekly and weekend trips.

Lake Calhoun: 3.2 miles around
Lake of the Isles: 2.7ish around
Lake Harriet: 2.6ish around 
Midtown Greenway: Bike, walk, and run highway that goes for miles. Convenient place to start is near the Midtown Exchange, Chicago and Lake street.
